Onboarding
Welcome. Let us get your site started.
The onboarding form for new FirmWebStudio clients. Fill in what you have, submit, and send anything missing later by email or from your client portal.
How the build runs
You pay the first monthly invoice
That starts the plan. The build fee is not charged yet.
You fill in this form
It takes about 15 minutes. Anything you do not have yet can follow later.
One onboarding call
We walk through your answers, fill the gaps, and agree the launch date.
We build and launch
Live in 7 days on Practice. The build fee is invoiced only once you have approved the site.
What to have ready
None of this is required to submit the form, but having it to hand makes the onboarding call shorter.
- A list of practice areas, most important first
- Partner names, roles and any credential to list
- Office addresses, if the firm has more than one
- A logo file, or a note that one is still needed
After launch, everything runs through your client portal
You get an account the day the site goes live. From it you request revisions, raise a support ticket for anything that needs attention, send us files, and talk to the team directly. You get 5 revisions a month included, of any size, each completed within 2 to 5 working days. You never need to log in to the website itself.
Onboarding questions
What happens right after we sign up?
The onboarding form is filled in and submitted. It asks for the firm's practice areas, partners, offices, brand and where inquiries should land, and takes about 15 minutes. If something is missing, submit anyway: the rest can follow by email or as a ticket in the client portal, and it will not hold up the build. One onboarding call then fills any gaps and confirms the launch date.
What is the client portal?
It is the firm's account with us, created the day the site goes live. Revisions, support tickets, files the firm still owes us, and messages to our team all go through it, so nothing runs through a scattered email thread. Nobody at the firm logs in to the website itself; we handle that side entirely.
Who at the firm should fill in the onboarding form?
Whoever knows the firm's practice areas, partner list and current inquiry process best, often an office manager or a managing partner. One person can complete it alone; the follow-up onboarding call is where any partner-specific detail can be added by whoever is available.
